We are always interested in our contributors' and users' value systems. Ultimately, these combine to form the Wikipedia shared value system.

Feel free to say anything you wish about your value system below, and respect what others have said about theirs. Thanks.

Please, avoid saying anything specific about Wikipedia itself here - if you have strong utopian visions of what it could become, or more reasonable best cases you think are achievable, please share them there not here. Likewise for threats and worst cases.

  • Humanity's pleasure should be maximized and pain minimized.
  • People could perhaps bring the wiki process into meatspace. This happens in many respects already. People vote. Elected officials and city planners decide how the future will be shaped... with community input of course. Wikicracy...
