Summary
| Description |
English: Buses of Lothian Buses seen parked up at their Central garage during the company's 2011 open day. There's very little open air bus storage space in this city centre site - and what there is, is taken up with staff car parking. These three are seen here in the SE corner car park, facing west. See this Flickr image for a wider view. They have presumably been moved here temporarily to make room in the sheds for the open day. The buses themselves are (left to right): No.s 784 (SN56 AEE), 773 (SN56 ACX) & 801 (SN56 AFE). They're from the 75 strong 56-registered B7TL / Gemini 1 batch, delivered between October 2006 and February 2007. They're seen here in their second point job, in the new standard Classic livery announced in 2010. 784 & 773 had previously worn the basic Harlequin livery, while 801 had been in Harlequin livery with Penicuick CityLink branding for routes 37/47/X47. 801 was the only Penicuick CityLink bus not to be repainted into the new Classic based Pen-Y-Cog branding (which replaced Penicuick CityLink). |
