Summary

Description
English: Vittala temple was originally built in 15th century AD located in the northeastern part of Hampi. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Many successive kings have enhanced the temple campus during their regimes to the present form. There are the ruins of an ancient town Vittalapura near the temple.
