just added myself to the metawiki, interesting vote on a wiki university.
some quick thoughts:
interested in the topic of wikigraphy, (also called wikiography or wikibio). open CVs, based on structured information. it would be an own form of wiki where everyone is able to edit their CV. a number of interesting question arise, mainly regarding privacy. but many people run their own homepages, for many artists and celebrities detailed biographies already exist. a biography is often linked to other biographies through events and collaborations. this could become a killerapp for vanity bloggers, as well as a simple tool for finding jobs and an economy of reputation, much known from the scientific domain. as the knowledge society applies not to academics any more, there must be ways to gain reputation outside the academic system. the other effect is clearly, the collectivity of individual lifes, how much they are related to other people, other ideas, and team work, important events, and projects, certain universities, conferences, companies. the interlinking of CVs into a collective hypertext is what makes WIKIGRAPHY a killer application for mapping out cultural life....
Actually, it is also know as something else Post Your Nudes
