What is a wiki
Wiki is in Ward's original description: The simplest online database that could possibly work.
Wiki is a piece of server software that allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web browser.
A wiki is a collection of interlinked web pages, each of which can be visited and edited by anyone at any time. You can even edit the page you are reading right now: just click "Edit this page" to the right! It really works! But of course it would be much appreciated if you would go to the sandbox first. It is assumed that self-editors are both knowledgeable and responsible.
This is a collaborative website, constantly expanding as new people add pages about their interests, comment on old pages, etc.
