You have been blocked indefinitely for violations of WD:SOCK: editing Wikidata with 15 undeclared alternate accounts. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest it by editing this page and adding the following template with a suitable reason: If you are logged in, and the option has not been disabled, you may also email the blocking administrator (or any administrator from this list) by using this form.

This blocked user has asked to be unblocked.
i am not Manipulating discussions, Circumventing sanctions or blocks , or Accounts that do not serve a productive purpose in general the accounts are an artifact of the SUL , and automatic edits upon article creation. i am editing primarily from this single account

and rather you are importing drama from other projects; you might want to reconsider this vindictiveness which does not protect this project.

Jasper Deng
This is false: multiple sockpuppets I blocked made nontrivial edits here, and you are required to disclose alternate accounts or they are not considered legitimate.

the broken talk page is a problem non-trivial is not the policy.

In reply to your email: I have filed phabricator:T232696 about the talk page issue.
In regards to the sockpuppetry issue, what I said isn't wrong: every account I blocked made non-automated edits here. Since it is rather deceptive for you to do so without declaring these alternate accounts, and because the policy explicitly requires that you declare them, I have blocked the accounts.
I will refuse to unblock, and will oppose an unblock by others, unless you demonstrate that you understand this.

"In reply to your email: I have filed phabricator:T232696 about the talk page issue."

thanks.

"In regards to the sockpuppetry issue, what I said isn't wrong: every account I blocked made non-automated edits here. yes, what we both said is not wrong, you just do not follow the block policy, but rather act unilaterally. "non-automated" is not the policy; an "understanding" standard is not in the policy; the policy says: "Editors are expected to edit primarily from a single account," is that deceptive, since you are now imposing "exclusively" not "primarily"?

"I will refuse to unblock, and will oppose an unblock by others, unless you demonstrate that you understand this."

what is there to understand? you want me to declare inactive accounts, that pose no threat to the quality or process at wikidata? and that you have issued a block making compliance impossible? and now that SUL is disconnected, it will not happen again? if you unblock, then i will declare.

Sorry, the policy is explicit that you must declare those alternate accounts, and there is no room for interpretation. You tried to hide these accounts from the community, making your operating of them deceptive.
Requiring you to understand the policy which you violated before unblocking you is perfectly reasonable.

now you are being unreasonable.

please provide an action play that would lead to an unblock.

if you fail to provide a specific action plan, then a reasonable person might well conclude that you will never support an unblock, regardless of what i may say or do.

please do not provide any more justification, please provide a reasonable path to an unblock.

I specifically need you to declare any and all alternate accounts you have and to convince another admin that you will refrain from further misuse of multiple accounts. Considering that you have an outstanding investigation open on the English Wikipedia, you are going to have to be very upfront about all of them.

thank you.

how do you want me to declare? on telegram? or would a link to the wikipedia page on the meta user page suffice? you insist in importing wikipedia drama into wikidata. why?

but, i am not interested in convincing anyone of anything. given the abuse by banned admins, i have very little trust or confidence in admin behavior. i take it by this comment, you will never unblock, but will seek to off load this upon another admin. i'm upfront in person at wikimania, i do not see much upfront behavior demonstrated by admins.

You may declare all the accounts on this page (Topic:V73q4742vi3wb49x), or if you can't even reply below, email them and I will post them here.
However, please do not insinuate that I am "importing drama". Note that I have blocked you on the sole basis of a local policy for your sockpuppets that made local edits here. If you do not understand that, then you are not welcome to continue editing the project.

when you say here [1] "I strongly oppose unblocking him and urge a fellow admin to decline his request"

are you not then being deceptive, when you said, "I will refuse to unblock, and will oppose an unblock by others, unless you demonstrate that you understand this."

you now also make a false statement, "along with his refusal to acknowledge that what he did was wrong" i did not refuse to acknowledge anything, rather i questioned your insistence on "understanding"

given this evidence of bad faith, i regret that further communication will be a waste of time. it is regrettable that you have chosen to escalate an off wikidata dispute, which will tend to harm wikidata. i stand ready to collaborate with good faith editors.

@Jasper Deng: I found a new sock with edits after the block: Special:Contributions/Langston-lemon. Maybe a CU should look into (haven't compared all his enwiki CU confirmed accounts with wikidata). Just FYI.

steinsplitter now escalates the conflict, counting an automated edit that adds a english wikipedia link as an edit here.

"The userpage does not seem to warrant deletion. Just because a user is sanctioned in one place does not necessarily mean we have to block them or otherwise take action here, as their edits here aren't abusive." [2]
