Partnerships
The Partnerships team supports the Wikimedia Foundation and the Affiliates of the Wikimedia Movement to develop and maintain strategic relationships with external partners. We believe that the Wikimedia Movement cannot achieve its strategic vision alone, and therefore we invest in ensuring that “anyone who shares our vision will be able to join us.” We prioritize partners - whether governments, multilateral organizations, non-profit organizations, or international companies - that help us collectively achieve our Knowledge Equity goals.

How we work[edit]
Regional Partnerships Managers are based around the world, with a priority on those regions that have historically been underrepresented in our Movement. Partnerships Managers have relationships with Affiliates and external partners in those regions, and seek to ensure that Affiliates have access to external partners and that partners deepen their understanding of and become advocates for the Wikimedia Movement.
