This is the page to propose page moves that might be controversial. These should be listed for seven days and implemented if there is no opposition. Any language may be used on this page, although English is the most common. Users who wish to use this place should place {{move}} on the page in question to alert other users, which adds the page to Category:Proposed page moves.

I don't really love that name either, in some cases it will be done for certain causes not just out of courtesy - perhaps the generic Account vanishing? But certainly maintain all the redirects. — xaosflux Talk 13:41, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Fine with account vanishing (or just vanishing since there aren't any other uses). But what you said contradicts the page itself, which says "The term is a misnomer in that it is not a "right" or guarantee but rather a courtesy extended to valued contributors who wish to leave", implying vanishing is always a courtesy. * Pppery * it has begun 01:57, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I support that, Account vanishing should be good, current name "Right to vanish" is clearly misleading. TenWhile6 (talk | SWMT) 09:21, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
