The name of this project is Project Punjabi Medical Wiktionary. It is a Punjab based project that we are going to start. The project will run till June 2020.
How
The project is aimed to be completed with the help of students and teachers. Students will work on the dictionary by using Wikidata. They will add labels to the items in the Punjabi language. After that, teachers will look over the contribution of students. The activity of the students will be tracked by using Wikimedia Dashboard.
Who
Any Wikimedian with a registered account can participate but the focus will be on the students from campus. To participate you just need to sign up on the participants page. Project coordinators, teachers and students from campus will work on this project.
Why
There is a lack of Punjabi words related to the medical subject. It is one of the important subjects and also our aim is to teach the students how they can contribute to free knowledge movement. It will enhance the skills of students and also their contribution can be remarkable.
