The KWASU Fan Club, under the guidance of its Staff Advisor Mrs. Mariam Gobir participated in the Wiki in School Nigeria Program organized by the Wikimedia User Group Nigeria. This program provided an excellent opportunity for students to develop 21st-century skills by contributing to Wikipedia while also enhancing their collaboration and research abilities. At the end 3 students contributions stood out and they were rewarded with Gift vouchers. Read more…

Wiki Movimento Brasil supported the Obelepédia's 2023 edition, the competition that is part of Phase 3 of the Brazilian Linguistics Olympiad. This was the first edition that had tutorship by the team and volunteers from Wiki Movimento Brasil as part of the program. The activity includes the creation (or improvement) of a Wikipedia article about a language, with the help of a tutor, a list of required topics, and a bibliography selected by the Olympiad organizers. In the Wikimedia Polska education team, we for some time now finally have a tool to introduce wider groups of teachers and lecturers to Wikipedia - thanks to the WikiLearn platform and cooperation with Wikimedia Education, we develop, test and implement more MOOCs.
