Create a "Woman's View" page for subjects that are dominated by men

Women are, in many respects, "pushed" out of discussions dominated by male editors in regard to certain topics that relate to gender roles,and elsewhere, apparently.

Project idea

What is the problem you're trying to solve?

Only 13 percent of Wikipedia contributors are female.

What is your solution?

Allow woman to create a separate page on a topic where they feel their voice isn't being heard.(I.E., if they contribute to a topic and their contributions are continuously edited out) Allow only female editors to edit these pages.

Goals

1. To allow readers access to women's research on topic without the effect of male editorializing.

2. To allow women specifically to see they are permitted and encouraged to contribute to Wikipedia.

• Quasi-endorsement: The problem is real, especially in politics and economics areas, and even gender-related articles. I've seen women told to just go away when guys with similar views or who supported their edits were chatted up. Since people can ban people from their talk pages, the best thing is for women to do is make a draft alternate article on their talk page and make it clear that dominating and abusive individuals will quickly be banned. Since those individuals are mostly male, the problem will be solved without having to get into figuring out if editors really are guys. Guys who are not afraid to support a women's edits will remain free to come by. Carolmooredc (talk) 16:11, 28 March 2015 (UTC)
• I support this idea because misogyny, sexism and male privilege continue to dismiss, obfuscate and silence women. In the US, men seem to be especially threatened by smart women who dare speak, contribute or take any action that may challenge male dominance. Shutupb4uruinit (talk) 16:07, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
