Project Goal[edit]

  1. Recruit new editors
  2. Increase skills for existing editors
  3. Add or improve content.# It will act on gender gap filler.

Project Plan[edit]

This project is focused on African Women in sports and media .it traces the works of notable African women who have done so well in sports,acting ,presenting ,creating and producing valuable media coverage thereby promoting African languages and Culture

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings. social media,on wiki spaces,, online/physical gathering.through fliers, social media,on wiki User groups.

4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals.

5. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them? as of equipment partially but will support with Data and skills will be taught to them.

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)? online and physical training,also social media group follow up.

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project? Yes,the project will encourage a new Wiki fan club.

I Chinwendu peace is organizing the training about  African women on Wikipedia and there is no support elsewhere.
