This is a project on Wikidata that will involve creating Wikidata items of women in Media mostly Cinemas/films, filmmakers and film industries.This is also in celebration of Wikidata birthday and also to increase the visibility of Women on Wikidata. This will help bridge gender gap, content gap and making African Cinemas,Film industries and Filmmakers visible.

This project will teach New participants the basics of editing Wikidata and improve the knowledge of existing editors on item creating which involves adding aliases and references.

For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings. I will involve my participants through group chats for new participants and group talk pages for old editors .

Participants have gadgets and I will teach them how to create item on Wikidata.

I will follow them through opening of group chats for follow ups.

This project will help make data about Women visible.
