• The project is targeted at improving information on Igbo Wikipedia articles through insertion of databox in order to enable information visibility on the articles and also to create quick and easy access to articles. Participants will engage in an Editathon so as to further contribute and implement the knowledge gained from the training.

I am doing one training and editathon

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

I have informed the Igbo Wikimedian user m Group on the Talk page https://meta.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Igbo_Wikimedians_User_Group# and also on the various WhatsApp and telegram groups.

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

The participants will be communicated through different students group and Wiki users group (both WhatsApp and Telegram)and they will also receive updates about the training from there.

4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals.

The participants will engage in the training with their smartphones. The new participants will be taught and guided through.

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?

The participants will be asked for their contact details and will be added to the various Wiki groups(WhatsApp and Telegram) so as to get more information and updates.

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

I am the Organizer and facilitator while Nwoyeka Charles with username User: Lebron jay will be the co-facilitator. Mr Kingsley Abasili User: Kingsley Nkem will be invited as an experienced editor. No support from elsewhere
