This is an Edit-a-thon on Nigerian Women in Politics which states the names of selected notable Nigerian women politicians, translating them from English to Hausa language. Hence, we can fill the gab of gender equality and increase the articles in Hausa language and also source new editors in Potiskum Local Government Area of Yobe State.

We'll be having a physical meet up to explain and educate the new and existing editors in Potiskum Local Government Area about what the Wikimedia and it's sisters projects are all about and teach them how they will contribute with articles improvement and creating new articles on Nigerian women politicians.

I will let them know through WhatsApp platform.

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

Participants will come with their laptops and Smart phones.They will be taught the basics of editing Wikipedia.

Opening a user group and follow up through the group.

We have team of three experience editors, the organizer and two facilitators.

What resources do you need? For your funding request, list bullet points for each expense and include a total amount.

• Space for the physical meetup = ₦60,000
• Food and drinks = ₦30,000
• Branded shirts for the Organizers and the participants = ₦45,000
• Transport fares for the organizers and the participants = ₦30,000
• Miscellaneous and Security report = ₦30,000
• Total = ₦195,000
