  • This project will correct and improve the already translated one's done by non native speakers of Igbo language. It will teach community how translations are done on Wikimedia projects.

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

I have informed the Igbo Wikimedian User M group on the talk page

For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

The participants will be communicated through different student's group and Wiki users group(Both WhatsApp and Telegram) and they will also receive updates about the training from there

5. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?

The participants will engage in the training with their smartphones. The new participants will be taught and guided through.

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?

The participants will be asked for their contact details and will be added to the various Wiki users groups( WhatsApp and Telegram) so as to get more information and update.

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

This project centers on translating the Igbo MediaWiki interface.

How will you know if the project is successful and you've met your goals? Please include the following targets:

  5. Number of repeat participants (for projects that include a series of events):15

Metrics tracking[edit]

How do you plan to track your project metrics? A WMF dashboard will be created to help in tracking the various participants' contributions.

I'm the organizer and facilitator while Ikekamma Nnamdi Emmanuel with the username user: Sayvhior will be the co-facilitator. Mbenma Esther user:Chikeme Chizurum will be invited as an experienced editor. No support from elsewhere.
