  1. This project is in response to Wikipedia pages wanting photos campaign.Pages in Wikipedia wanting photos will be added photos.
  2. This project will include mapping/ creation of landmarks on wikidata on Cities and known commercial areas in Anambra State using wikishootme as tool for mapping.participants will be engaged by unveiling (a) the basics of uploading photos on wikicommons (b)How to add photos to Wikipedia pages wanting photos (a)how to create new items on wikiidata and how to add photos supporting the item (d)how to create landmarks and mapping using openstreetmap

  1. Recruit new editors-this project will campaign for new editors to join the movement.
  2. Increase skills for existing editors - existing editors will be thoui how photos are added in Wikipedia and wikiidata
  1. Add or improve content-it will also improve the existing photos especially those concerning Cities in Anambra State.

Tell us how you'll carry out your project. Be sure to answer the following questions: I plan first to run a day training on the basics of Wikipedia,wikidata, wikicommons and how photos are uploaded. Secondly will go for site seeing, capturing and uploading.

1 training and 2 photo taking/site seeing

Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

I will let them know through social media, group chats, physical gathering.

4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals.
For example: User:Kaizenify User:Senator Choko User:Akwugo

5. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them? Participants have their gadgets but will support with data

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?

i will follow them up through group chats

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project? This project will help source photos especially cities on wikipedia without photos and also create landmarks which can be used for tracing locations
