I am planning one edit-a-thon

It has also been announced at Social Workers Research Group WhatsApp Platform. 3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

The project has been announced at the Social Work Student of University of Nigeria Nsukka WhatsApp Platform, it has also been announced at Unn Student Community WhatsApp Platform and Social Work Postgraduate Student WhatsApp Platform.

Myself User: Mr. Chris001, User: Ngozi osadebe, User: Ngozi Stella Udechukwu who are facilitators of Wikipedia projects at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, which are Nnamdi Azikiwe Library art and feminism Wikipedia edit-a-thon 2017-2021, Surplus People in the Universities Research Group (SPURG), E-WIN art and Feminism Wikipedia edit-a-thon.

5. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high-quality content? If not, how will you support them?

Yes participants have the required equipment, and all social work researchers have laptops. The university has an internet connection and electric power supply, though there will be a need to purchase internet data and diesel for the generator in case of disruption in Internet connectivity and power supply.

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?

I will organize a meet-up for face-to-face interaction with members. I will also form a WhatsApp group of all the participants through which members will share experiences.

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

I could have love to attract or involve more students and student researchers, but the university is on a compulsory break as a result of the strike embarked on by the Academic Union of Universities?

We have good facilitators personal laptops, university internet and electricity power supply.

This project is being organized by myself User: Chris001. I will call on all the social work students and researchers of the University of Nigeria Nsukka to come out to participate in the #1Lib1Ref#AfLIBWK 2022. I will do all the logistics duties required for a successful outcome of it. This including identifying the hall, publicity and contacting other facilitators. I will also identify people to manage light refreshment for participants on the day of the event.

I will not receive support from anyone else for this event. What resources do you need? For your funding request, list bullet points for each expense and include a total amount.

We will need the following resources

3. Diesel for standby = N10,000.00
4. Lunch for 23 people (which consists of 20 social work researchers, 1technical assistance, 1 baby sitter and 1 cleaner) (N2, 500.00 per plate) = N57,500.00
5. Malt drink (1 Crate) = N5,000.00
6. Bottle water 3packets (N1,000.00 each) = N3,000
7. Mineral and Snacks (For children waiting for their mothers) = N10,000.00
8. Flex banner (For Publicity) = N10,000.00
9. Customised exercise book and pen for souvenir (for 23 persons, N1,000.00 each) = N23,000.00
10.Honorarium to Baby sitter = N10,000.00
11.Honorarium to Cleaner =N10,000.00
12.Honorarium to Technical Assistance =N10,000.00
13.Cash Award to 3 persons to add more contents (A means to encourage more effort)
