I am organising a training.

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
I have presented this project proposal to the wikimedia community during the in person Wikimania 2022 event at Lagos, Nigeria. The Wikimedia Yoruba and Wikimedia Igbo User Group Nigeria are aware about this project. You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings. I will sensitize the academic community about the training through the social media channels, especially through the Whatsapp groups already been created. 4. I will provide the necessary support to the participants in contributing high quality images to the Wiki Commons.

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)? I will continue with a follow up programme and discussion on the whatsapp platform after the training and conduct a post training survey to determine the rate of satisfaction derived from the training.

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project? I am highly optimistic that the project will be successful and will create more awareness about the wikimedia movement in my community.

How do you plan to track your project metrics? I will track the project metric by creating and using a simple hashtags for every edits and contributions made during the training.
