  • Organizing a photo work around the global Wiki Loves monument campaign in Abuja. This is in line with the promotion and Documentation of historical and Cultural Heritage of Nigeria and the rest of the World through the use of the Internet for people to see, read and enjoy.

1. Are you doing one edit a thon or training or a series of edit a thons or trainings?

There will be One Photo work Event and Two Edit a thon Events,

One of the Edit a thon is to teach the new editors on what to do with reference to: a) Introduction to Wikimedia and its sister projects b) Account creation and ABC of Wiki Loves Monuments Campaign c) Wiki Commons Basics and upload of pictures The Second edit a thon is to make sure what was learnt is effectively carried out and also feedbacks from the participants with reference to challenges encountered and highlights of the project.

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

It will be posted on WUGN talk page and social media handles.

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals.

Yes they do.

I will form a whatsApp group or add them to an existing one
