Briefly summarize your project proposal.


The aim of the project is to improve the visibility of Women and increase the number of female contributors on Wikipedia.This Project will focus on introducing the basics of editing Wikipedia,Wikidata, Wikiquote, Wikitionary and Wikicommons to new participants.We plan having this project by March in Celebration of International Women day and a gathering to tell your Story, break the bias and barries that has stopped Women from joining the dissemination of free knowledge.

What we plan achieving are:


a. Well improved articles about Women.


b.Increasing Contents about Women on Wikipedia.


c.Bridging Gender gap/Increasing the Visibility of Women on the Internet.


d.Introducing to Wikimedia Movement to new participants.


e.learning the basics of Wiki projects etc.


f.Increase the number of Female editors in Wiki projects.


g.Translating articles about Women to language wiki projects.

participants have their phones and laptops to contribute but will be assisted with data to connect.

We will continue follow up on the group platforms.


7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?


This project will be held in Anambra Network to Celebrate Women and Make women Visibile in Media.
