Comments from FDC staff[edit]

Dear Wikimédia France Colleagues:

Thank you for submitting this complete and detailed report on time. We enjoyed learning about your work and your reflections. Thank you for the clear numbers provided to show WMFR’s growth in this quarter. We appreciate the cumulative tables showing your progress against targets, and also the details provided about staff and volunteer roles in your programs. This shows WMFR is thinking very actively about volunteer engagement when reporting on its programs.

  • Congratulations on securing your new office space. We hope the new space enables your work in the coming quarters.
  • Welcome to Pierre-Antoine Le Page, Mathieu Denel and Ania Szyska!
  • We were sorry to learn of the theft of camera equipment from one of your volunteers. Do you have any insights that could be shared with others doing similar projects as a result of your revisions to your insurance policy and recommendations around safety for volunteers? If so, please consider a learning pattern on this topic!
  • We appreciate the reports on how media files are used on Wikimedia projects.
  • We look forward to learning more about the results of the Semanticpedia competition in future quarters.
  • We appreciated your observations around retaining editors as a result of workshops and look forward to seeing how you address this in the future.
  • Congratulations on receiving your approval from the Ministry of Education. We hope this enables a lot of future work!
  • Congratulations on surpassing your target for new francophone contributors. We look forward to seeing how WMFR addresses the challenges it identified around motivating contributors and getting participants to report back more effectively in the future.

Thank you once again and best regards from FDC staff! Winifred Olliff (FDC Support Team) talk 23:39, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
