Comments from WMF[edit]

Hi, Matthewvetter, thank you for submitting this new rapid grant request. We have received a high volume of applications, which may delay our review. We appreciate your patience and will respond to your request as soon as possible. In the meantime, here are two brief comments:

  • Please that that per our Guidelines and Criteria we do not permit giving cash prizes. Would you please edit your application to indicate whether you will be giving gift cards, vouchers, gift certificates, items, or some other non-cash prize?
  • Also, please note that rapid grants have a maximum term of one year. As a result, please adjust your end date to 29 February 2020.

Please be sure to watch this page for additional comments and questions. If you have any questions about the grantmaking process, let us know. We're here to help you with a successful grant! Best regards, LSmith (WMF) (talk) 19:11, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for this review. We will be providing non-cash item prizes (basically SWAG and other gear from the Wikipedia store. Also, I have adjusted the grant timeline. These changes were made on Dec. 17, and were reported to Smith via email at that time. Matthewvetter (talk) 16:54, 2 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Moved to Draft[edit]

Hello Matthewvetter, we haven't heard from you regarding our questions on your proposal so I've moved your request to draft. If you would like the request to be reconsidered, you can respond to our questions and resubmit it when we're accepting applications again between the 1st and 15th of the month. Best regards, WJifar (WMF) (talk) 23:41, 23 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi WJifar (WMF) I did correspond with LSmith (WMF) regarding the issues that were raised and made appropriate changes in the proposal. Please let me know what other questions or issues need to be addressed for this to be considered. Thank you. Matthewvetter (talk) 16:51, 2 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
