Report accepted[edit]

I'm accepting this report, with the following comments:

  • Congratulations on completing the facilitation of another year!
  • The winning photos for 2021 are so good to see. There are some very beautiful images.
  • I would be interested to hear more of your thoughts about why participation was lower this year?
  • As in 2020, it would be nice to know: What was the obstacle or decision point for not publishing the traditional jury report? Was this simply a workload/capacity issue?
  • Great to see the onboarding guide!
  • Thank you for providing links to the outcome of the DEI consultancy, the blog post, etc.. Would be interested to know more about how these findings might influence facilitation of future competitions. I don't know if you have had the chance yet to participate in the Let's Connect peer learning space launched in 2021 for Wikimedia affiliates and organized groups to share knowledge with each other. I wonder if you might want to consider leading a Learning Clinic in that space to further circulate learning that came out of this work? If that interests you, consider reaching out to Jessica Stephenson, Lead Learning and Evaluation Officer on the Community Resources team, who facilitates that space. I think many would be interested! Potentially, you could consider including resources in your next application to allow you to share in that way.

Thank you for all the work you do!

Warm regards,
