From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Where to put WikiAfrica?[edit]

There have been several discussions about the right location for the WikiAfrica project. At the moment there is an external website http://www.wikiafrica.org and several Wikiprojects on Wikipedia in English, Wikipedia in Italian,Wikipedia in French and Wikipedia in Spanish. The way WikiAfrica has been working since 2006 doesn't properly correspond to a Wikiproject; WikiAfrica doesn't focus only on coordinating the production of content related to Africa on Wikipedia and this task is more properly accomplished through the Wikiprojects Africa and other specific projects. At the same time WikiAfrica has been supporting training, presentations, events, the production of new content in cc by-sa, the collaboration with institutions and the creation of a database of villages of Botswana (with uploads on different Wikipedia linguistic editions and on Wikidata). Those activities are linked to different Wikimedia projects and some users have suggested to create a space for WikiAfrica on meta. --Iopensa (talk) 11:49, 10 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

2c[edit]

A me la pagina precedente sembra già abbastanza sviluppata da poter essere "smembrata" in vari tab poi collegati da template apposito. --Elitre (talk) 15:55, 10 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
