My opinion? CPOV policy not necessary.[edit]

It seems unnecessary to me, because:

we have a {{personal opinion}} tag to mark things that look like community consensus but are not.
several members of the Wikimedia community do not edit Meta much.
some pages of cross-project interest (be bold is an example) might represent consensus on one project but not another.
some pages (privacy policy, new project policy, ...) are more from the Wikimedia Foundation than from the community.
we can "edit" pages, adding additional points of view or changing the points of view.
we can already remove or delete text from trolls and vandals.

The assumption behind the Community point of view was that everything in DocumentMode on this wiki must represent community consensus. --Kernigh 21:04, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
