Closing projects policy & this proposal[edit]

The Closing projects policy (page begun in 2012) statement that "Inactivity in itself is no valid reason" for a project to be closed/deleted goes a long way toward addressing the central concern of this proposal - to protect smaller projects from closure and relegation to the Incubator. The intimation in the policy page that the Incubator may be somehow modified is encouraging - a step hopefully towards a more comprehensive and proactive approach to assisting development of smaller wikis (such as many in African languages).--A12n (talk) 04:00, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
