The translated messages should be used in local Wiktionaries, too!

They are, for example http://fr.wiktionary.org/ --Brion VIBBER 11:18, 11 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
I wrote it after visiting http://pl.wiktionary.org - the message is in English. --tsca 11:21, 11 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
And on da: there's a problem with a Unicode character in the message. I'll rephrase the translation.--tsca 11:30, 11 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
Both problems should be fixed now. --Brion VIBBER 22:59, 11 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
That's a nice feature, to do this announcement in the respective language! :-) But as I regularly observe, the main source of confusion in less due to language issues, but on deriving the respective local time or daylight saving time, respectively. Hence I'd like to ask whether it woud be a big deal, to present the date and time information for a desirable timezone, typical for the respectve Wiki (as it is hadeled with the signature timestamp)? (For English Wikis there might not be a particular timezone, as it might be any from UTC to PST (+ more: HST, AEST...), but for many Wikis a preferable timezone exists.) --SteffenB 10:00, 12 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
