Venues[edit]

Antioch University Seattle is quite small. IIRC, they don't have lecture halls, since most of their classes are small and discussion based. I've been in a conference room that could sit 30 roundtable style. If we were spreading ourselves out around the city it could be a good place to grab a couple of rooms. I am closely related to a long time faculty member there which would probably help in getting use of it. There are hotels a couple of blocks away. It is located just a few blocks from the Pacific Science Center and the Recreational Equipment Incorporated (REI) flagship store. It has a pretty good cafe on the ground floor and is across the street from Teatro ZinZanni, a 3 hour dining experience including a five course meal by Tom Douglas and cirque meets cabaret meets humor and physical comedy. If it were only going to be 40 people it would be a great spot. WAvegetarian 11:53, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

awesome! just as a point of reference, wm '06 was just under 500 people :) But there's talk of having smaller preconferences that this could suit... phoebe 05:13, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unlikely to happen[edit]

This is very unlikely to happen for '09, at least under my guidance... if anyone else wants to take it on let me know! I took it off the bids page for now; please feel free to revive. -- phoebe 21:55, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
