Questions about Bilal's survey[edit]

Dear Samir,

This draft looks so good! Thank you for all the hard work that went into it! It is an important story. I hope that those who attended WikiArabia appreciate it as much as I do.

Just a few questions about Bilal's survey that I think should be clarified:

  1. It says: "[he] spent months running a survey about Wikipedia" -- was that a survey of Arabic Wikipedia only or all Wikipedias?
  2. It says: "The survey asked internet users..." -- was that all internet users or Arabic-speaking internet users?
  3. It says: "...how much they trust Wikipedia" -- was that how much they trust Arabic Wikipedia or Wikipedia in general?

Other than that, it's good to go! Anna Koval (WMF) (talk) 00:12, 7 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your comments, Anna! Here are some answers to your questions:
  1. He asked Arab users about both Wikipedia in general and the Ar Wikipedia in particular. Do you need this to be clear in the post?
  2. The same answer.
  3. The same answer. He asked the internet users in the Arab region about the Ar Wikipedia and other Wikipedias. I think people mostly here use Ar, En and sometimes Fr wiki.

Please let me know if you have any other comments, or you want me to clarify anything in the post. --Selsharbaty (WMF) (talk) 12:22, 7 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
