Dear all,

On behalf of the organizing team for the Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2024, I would like to invite you to consider joining the program committee.

We recognize and highly appreciate your contribution to the development of Wikimedia Central and Eastern Europe. Considering your knowledge about the movement and excellent communication and organizational skills, it would be our pleasure if you accepted this invitation and worked on creating a program to meet the community's needs.

This year, the conference will be held in September/October. The work of the committee will be coordinated through video calls, and its main roles and responsibilities include the following:

• Drafting a timeline for developing the program
• Preparing and launching the call for submissions
• Liaising with the communities about the themes of interest
• Evaluating the submitted session proposals
• Sending announcements and letters of acceptance/rejection
• Drafting and completing the conference schedule

Please note that this work involves no payment or other benefits (for example, scholarships to attend a CEE Meeting in person). Also, vacancies in the program committee are limited, and we will select only 2-3 committee members from candidates.
