About this template

I set up this template to clarify ambiguity about who has permission to edit the Meta-Wiki page Office actions. This template indicates that the Wikimedia community has editorial control over that page, and that staff of the Wikimedia Foundation have their own documentation elsewhere. Community edited pages

The Wikimedia Foundation sets up certain pages on Meta-Wiki with their own staff labor to present their perspectives. Typically the WMF staff maintain these pages while asserting editorial control over their content, so these pages do not go through the routine Wikimedia community editorial process. I wish to apply this template to pages where the Wikimedia community maintains editorial control.

This template should prevent misunderstanding. Wikimedia Foundation staff is under no obligation to maintain these pages, and the Wikimedia community clarifies that the perspectives in the page are from Wikimedia community development and make no claim to represent the views of the Wikimedia Foundation.
