This parameter is intended for use within other templates, specifically {{proxyip}} and {{torip}}.

Parameters[edit]

Toggles[edit]

parameter explanation type default value
unblock switches between a block and unblock link. optional off (block link)
anonymising switches between preset reasons. optional off (non-anonymising)
anononly do not block registered users. optional off (block both registered and anonymous)
blocknew block account creation. optional on (block account creation).
domain=local link to the forms on the current project. optional not set.
autoblock Toggle the autoblock feature. optional. off (disable autoblock).

Values[edit]

ip The IP address to be blocked. normal 127.0.0.1
domain the target language code and domain. normal meta.wikimedia
name the link name. normal m
reason The block reason. optional override complex (see "Reason parameter")
note Add a comment to the reason visible only in the block log. optional not set (no comment)
length The block duration. optional override. indefinite

Reason parameter[edit]

The reason parameter uses conditional programming and toggles to switch between several preset values (see table below). You can use the reason parameter to define a custom reason.
