I'm using MediaWiki in several personal projects for planning and information organization. As a hacker myself, I'm developing MediaWiki extensions to get the functionality I want now.

- Newest Pages Blog - shows the most recently created/updated pages on the wiki as weblog entries, including syndication as an rss/atom feed.
