Assamese Wikipedia uses Universal Language Selector, a tool to type in Assamese. It also supports Assamese web font which displays Assamese even when you don't have the font installed in your computer. To enable Assamese typing find the gear icon in your left side bar under "আন ভাষাসমুহত" and follow the steps below.

Click on the gear icon in "আন ভাষাসমুহত"

⬅ Click in the search box ➤ Choose any of the typing schemes (প্রতিরুপান্তারণ/অভ্র/বর্ণনা/ইনস্ক্রিপ্ট/ফনেটিক/ইনস্ক্রিপ্ট২)

Assamese Wikipedia by default displays a font "Lohit Assamese" so you will be able to read Assamese even when you don't have Assamese font installed in your computer. If some of the characters are not displayed correctly try to change it to the system font.

Click on the gear icon ➔ Fonts ➔ Choose System Font ➔ Choose Apply settings.
