Tom Chiu is current a teaching assistance in Fanling Public School of Hong Kong.
He is usually active in Chinese Wikipedia and Babyish Encyclopedia and Dictionary Wikia, and doing interwiki in most other language version, mainly the English version, Korean version and the Japanese version. He used to study a module in translation, and so he is keen to translate articles from English and Japanese to Chinese and Korean. He believes that these translation work can help to balance the differences between different language versions.
He is also a member of the Association of Inclusionist Wikipedians
