My name is Kashif and I have recently become an administrator on Urdu Wikipedia. We do not yet have the "Portal" name space enabled there. Can you please help me by enabling it? If there is a formal request process for this that I have to follow, can you please give me the details?

I am in the process of doing the Login Unification, and I received this error... Your home wiki (listed below) is blocked from editing. Please contact an administrator in this wiki to unblock it. While it is blocked, you cannot merge your accounts. Therefore, I am contacting you to see how to change my Home Wiki. You are not blocked under the name 'Oiseau' on either the French or English Wikipedias. Wikipedia projects are divided by language, not location. There's an English-language edition, not a USA one. Angela 01:11, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Hi there Angela. I'm an editor from the English Wikipedia project, but I read and sometime edit the Spanish Wikipedia pages. I've noticed on the Spanish Wikipedia that they have several links to several tools on a page's history page. You can click to get a list of editors, contribution details, search the history, get general statistics on an article, or check the number of visits to a page. Check out this page. The Herramientas are tools (list of editors, contribution details, and history search), the Estadísticas are statistics (general stats and number of visits). We should add this to our pages too. Thanks! I did that in the end. It turned out that the tools are there; just not in language setting English-GB. I've changed myself to generic English and the tools have appeared. Declan Davis 12:41, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

Bureaucrats don't make decisions like that on this wiki. I'm not aware of a signature policy here on Meta, but I would predict that reactions to multiple colors, large boxes, or images in signatures would be the same here as they were on the English Wikipedia when Template:Launchballer was deleted. w:Wikipedia:Signatures is not the policy for all Wikimedia wikis, but I do believe that many people would agree with that policy for other wikis. If you have a look at discussion pages here, such as Wikimedia Forum and Meta:Babel you'll see the type of signatures people use. Even though there's no policy, there's an expectation that people don't do anything too different to the norm, which is just text, with 1 or 2 colors. Angela 15:21, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Wikipedia User Trevor888 has vandalized many pages, most recently Wikipedia:Backstreet Boys by using terms like faggot and changing pictures. I looked on his talk page and he's been warned a couple of times. I was just wondering if you could block him from editing. Thank you! Cougars2012 04:16, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
