Hello Linedwell - could we amend the CentralAuth links to point to Special:CentralAuth?target=$name to avoid encoding issues? Similarly could we use Special:GlobalBlock&wpAddress=$ip for global blocks? These fails on rangeblocks pointing to null on the global block form. Thanks! —MarcoAurelio (talk) 10:53, 27 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello MarcoAurelio and thanks for your feedback. After some checks, it seems that the first modification isn't required as encoding seems to be always good (for example : User:🌚 works as expected, pointing to Special:CentralAuth/🌚 even if not displayed in the URL). Regarding the second point, as wgRelevantUserName must be used to retreive the user related to a given page (its userpage or its Special:Contributions) and as an ip range isn't a valid user, I guess the null is expected by Mediawiki.
