Why a new commons? Thats senseless. All File should go to commons and at commons has to get switches for the juridistrictions to allow FOP, Fair use, etc. --Itu (talk) 04:57, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

- Yeah, Nathan is somehow right: At the moment "everybody" knows that you can go to commons and be sure if you copy an image/vid that it is "free" (under some restrictions like the mention of the name). mabdul 20:10, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- One could even make a switch to protect 'non-free'-stuff from access/download. Thats even more simple then splitting in 2 Projects. --Itu (talk) 21:22, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
