WikiResearch is intended to serve as an authoritative repository of information and research sources.

Take a topic like Quantum Physics. Its page would include names and links to all the relevant offline and online journals, conference sites, organizations...etc. Unlike Wikisource, which deals with public domain texts, WikiResearch catalogs primary and secondary sources. For something like Fine Art, list of published catalogs, online comprehensive galleries, auction houses would be included.
