How did you attend Wikimania (virtually or in-person)?

I attended virtually from Tanzania.

What did you spend the scholarship funds on?

I fixed my laptop, bought a monthly internet package to attend, bought some snacks and the rest started investing in mutual funds.

I attended many but here is the 3 i have chosen 1. Wiki Learn by Asaf 2. WIimedian of the year, and 3. WikiGlam. 1. wiki learn. its a platform where one can learn different knowledge and courses. It helps one for extensive skill development and training. Existing materials are under utilized because many do not not if it exist in their language also one can contribute because many topics are not covered. Through https://learn.wiki. one can enroll and start learning through videos. 2. Wiki Glam it was about challenges to organize WikiGlam in Latin America. common challenges identified -Limited resources -Glam's Institutional structure -Misleading conceptions about going open -Perspectives on how WikiGlam looks like 3. Wikimedian of the year 2022 i was so glad to see the wikimedians of the year in different categories. It was amazing the way recognized contributors were surprised by the wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales popping in between the meeting to congratulate and recognize them. How did you connect with other people during Wikimania 2022? How did you celebrate at Wikimania 2022?

I engaged in differnt groups to chat and share different ideas with new friends all of those who massaged privately, we realy had a great conversation. it was a great time for sure. i celebrated through buying different snaks, where i enjoyed through sessions. Also i participated in celebrating sessions like Global dance off

and Karaoke, i chose the music to sing where i got others to sing with me, it was real joyful and an event to remember. other sessions attended(listing a few)- Wiki functions - A new wikimedian project, Open culture Brighter future an international policy outlook, Sip and chat with the core organizing committee, Wiki loves monuments and getting started with organizing wiki loves monuments.
