What did you spend the scholarship funds on?

Headphone, Internet data and some meals.

Takeaways – choose 3 specific Wikimania sessions you attended and describe your key take-aways per session.

Sessions 1: Sound logo Masterclass by Massivemedia

Take-aways:

  • I learnt about the various music termilogies such as tracks, key-major, tempo/speed etc.
  • I learnt what sound logo is, for the first time by knowing about its history and importance.
  • An overview of music production was introduced and a brief of Wikimedia Sound Logo was taught with examples given. This are my take-aways from this particular session.

Session 2: Wikimedia Loves Monuments Session by Krishna Velaga. Take-aways:

  • The primary mission of WLM and goals was introduced.
  • We were showed how to properly organize WLM locally in our various countries.

Session 3: VSN Wikimania Session trivia Take-aways: I learnt alot from this trivia session and I really had fun too. It was very interactive and educative. I was sent a barnstar for participation.


How did you connect with other people during Wikimania 2022? How did you celebrate at Wikimania 2022?

I connected with other Wikimedians through the pheedloop platform and I celebrated Wikimania 2022 alone at home.
