Summary[edit]

The last day of the CEE Meeting will be exactly 16 days ahead of the crucial vote of the European Parliament's Legal Affairs committee (JURI) on the copyright reform. We will look at the issues concerning Wikimedia (safeguarding the public domain, Freedom of Panorama, upload filtering). We will see where compromises between the political groups have been found. For all other issues, we need to undertake a last push to convince as many JURI MEPs as possible to support us. A Bulgairan, a Polish, a Hungarian and a Czech MEP might be holding the decisive votes.

Expected outcomes[edit]

  • Action plan for the last two weeks of efforts to contact CEE JURI MEPs.

Duration (without Q&A)[edit]

20 mins

Specific requirements[edit]

Flipshart and/or beamer would be good. As I am travelling on Saturday, it would be good to have my session on Sunday, if it is accepted.
