Summary[edit]
Partnerships are an important method of increasing our impact. Partnerships in Wikimedia have an unusual aspect (for example, in that there's no "general manager" on the Wikipedia side of the partnership), but also are just like other partnerships between organizations.
In this presentation, several techniques and best practices will be explained, with examples, to help interested Wikimedians identify and build a partnership for the community.
Expected outcomes[edit]
Attendees will learn a sample workflow and best practices in how to identify, evaluate, and negotiate partnerships, in a Wikimedia context.
