Wikimedia Ghana User Group Coverage of Africa Games 23

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki
All African Games 2023

Wikimedia Ghana User Group is excited to announce that we will cover the Africa Games 23. Although the event was initially scheduled for 2023, it has been rescheduled to 2024 due to unforeseen circumstances. Our team looks forward to providing comprehensive coverage and documentation of this significant sporting event on Wikimedia Commons and other projects.

The Africa Games are minimally represented on Wikimedia Commons, so this event in Accra, Ghana, will provide an opportunity to increase the number of images in that category and introduce Wikimedia Commons to the Africa Games local organizing committee.
