Wikimedians Kaduna Connent Campaign

The aim of this project seeks to create awareness among students, staff, Librarians in Higher institutions in Kaduna state on wikimedia projects. It's will promote visibility on Nigeria content.The project will ensure Nigeria contents on wikimedia are well represented. The campaign shall promote digital information literacy, open knowledge and free access to information for staff, students and Librarians in Kaduna state.

Program goals

1. Training and recruitment of participants: the training will enable participants to create items and edits wikipedia article.
2. Creating wikipedia or wikidata account
3. Make participants understand the core content policies and general editing principles
4. It provide new editors and existing editors with necessary tool needed to improve wikidata and wikipedia
5. It promote the use of wikipedia and wikidata among staff, students and Librarians in Higher institutions in Kaduna state
6. it's will establish a network for continue knowledge sharing
