Wikipedia takes Design (Cape Town)

The Wikipedia takes Design event is a workshop hosted by Wikimedia ZA, the d-school (University of Cape Town) and the Montebello Design Centre. The focus of the event is to introduce Wikipedia editing to design professionals. By providing a frendly space to learn how to participate in the free knoweldge community it is hoped that workshop participants will controbute their knowelge and talent to help grow free knoweldge.

• Introducing the five pillars of editing Wikipedia
• Controbuting creative content to commons
• A conversation on how design professionals can controbute to free knoweldge
• Introduciton to Open Copyright
• Answer any questions they might have about Wikipedia or the Free Knoweldge Movement generally.
