purpose of this template[ענדערן]

This template allows proper embeding of RTL and / or BiDi text in an LTR environment. The directionaly of whole content of the « ril » parameter will behave as LTR.‎

restrictions:‎

  • It is neither supposed that « unbalanced » <span> or <div> structures nor paragraphs ( &ltp> ) are used as content of « ril ». This will break the rendering.

notes:‎

The block generated by my signature "~~~" behaves as a single RTL character.
However the block generated by my signature "~~~~" does not ( see bugzilla:012225 ) and the representation in the browser depends on the directionality of the characters before and after "~~~~".
