Links to reports[edit]

Hi,

In section 1, it is written as point 4 that “Summaries of each entity’s progress report in this past quarter: We will provide a brief summary of each entity’s progress with a link to each detailed report.” ; as far as I can see no such link is provided. I suggest either adding those links or removing this mention. Based on the Q1 & Q2 staff summaries, I will do the former unless there is opposition :)

Yes, Jean-Fred, you are right! And I will add the links--or you are free to as well, of course. :) KLove (WMF) (talk) 18:53, 23 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Hello again, Jean-Fred, I was able to add WMAR but was unable to link to the Q3 report for WMCH because of translation tags. How do I avoid this tagging conflict? Thanks! KLove (WMF) (talk) 18:59, 23 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Hi Katy, thank you for the answer! I went ahead and added the links − as for the translation tag problem, I’m not sure how to do it properly, so I avoided it by adding even more translation markup. Looks like that “if it does not solve your problem, you are not using enough of it” ;-þ

Categorisation[edit]

I noticed this staff summary was not categorised, though the Q2 was. I went ahead and added it Category:Reports for 2012-2013 Round 1 Q3, Category:Reports for 2012-2013 Round 2 Q1, Category:FDC staff summaries for 2012-2013 Round 1 & Category:FDC staff summaries for 2012-2013 Round 2. Feel free to revert in case it is incorrect :). Jean-Fred (talk) 16:34, 26 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Scope of this summary[edit]

While I read that "The purpose of these progress reports is to give the FDC and the larger Wikimedia community an idea of how each entity is progressing toward its programmatic and financial goals", I reckon that this summary doesn't have such a goal: after reading it, I know more about the reporting process of many entities, but almost nothing about what they did or achieved. --Nemo 13:41, 4 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
