• Not much activity this month. Now 93 articles.

• Sharp inscrease of activity on the Hindi Wikipedia which approaches now 600 articles. Some new active contributors.

Hungarian Wikipedia reached 5000 real articles (with still pretty nice article/substub ratio, no machine generated stubs). Our community is pretty much stirred by the first real edit war, ongoing for more than a month now, created by Afu all over hu, en and de wikipedias. So far nobody got hurt, and we still hope to reach a consensus. Real vandal level is low, occasional copyright violations (especially regarding pictures of uncertain origins) happen and get handled. We gathered around 5 new active editors in this last month, one of which single-handedly tries to build a collection of (Hungarian speaking and more) slovak cities and villages. --grin 11:44, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)

• As at the end of the calendar year, we had 24 registered users and 154 articles, which is a reasonable position after less than three months of operation. However, we are still relying on 3 regular contributors. To meet our goal of having 1,000 articles by the end of 2005, we must add another two or three additional users who will contribute on at least a weekly basis. I have left a note (in bad Italian) on the Bar of the it:wiki, in the hope of attracting some siculo-italians who know the difference between bello and beddu.
